Conviction from the experts who built the technology

At the Abelian Security Council, our mission is to build the world's foremost national security information collective, bringing together the most knowledgeable voices in the field to advance the interests and security of the United States and its allies. Direct, compliant access to the people who researched, designed, built, evaluated, bought, deployed, and competed with the systems you are underwriting.

01
The premise

Generalist networks were not built for this.

National security and defense is among the fastest-moving allocations in private markets, and the hardest to underwrite from the outside.

The signal lives with a small population: people who set the requirements, ran the programs, built the systems, and operated them in the field. Reaching them, compliantly and at the speed of a deal, is the entire problem. We were built by that community to solve exactly that, and nothing else.

The result our clients name, again and again, is conviction: the confidence to make a high-stakes decision and stand behind it.

The team

A team of national security and defense experts who know how to navigate the ecosystem.

At the large networks, you never learn who is behind the desk. At ASC, you do, and that is the point. A bench of operators and officers with real national security and defense experience is why the right experts pick up the phone, and why we can read a diligence question the way you mean it.

Compliance & vetting

Compliant by design. Vetted before you meet.

Everything we do relies on publicly available, unclassified information and ITAR/EAR-compliant conversations. The vetting runs both ways: inbound experts are screened before they join and referred experts come through a trusted chain, while every client is a vetted, U.S.-based, SEC-registered institution. The signal in a call is only as good as the person on the other end, and the controls around it.

  • 01 Publicly available, unclassified engagements only.
  • 02 ITAR / EAR-compliant conversations, with conflict and deconfliction checks.
  • 03 Engagement controls and compliance framework owned end to end by ASC.

Why ASC

One network. Two sides of the same conversation.

For investors

Diligence at deal speed.

Because ASC is veteran owned and operated, we read your question in context and find the precise profile: fast, conflict-sensitive, and on the record.

  • 01 Precision. We understand the mission, so we match the right operator to the right question, not the closest keyword.
  • 02 Reach. Experts answer the phone for us and engage readily, because of who we are and the trust we carry in this community.
  • 03 Coverage. Ten mission domains across national security, defense, and critical technologies, filterable by perspective, branch, and clearance.
  • 04 Compliance carried by us. Publicly available, unclassified, ITAR/EAR-compliant engagements, with compliance-team chaperoning available.
For experts

Designed with experts in mind.

We treat the expert as the core asset, not a line item. Mission-aligned, fast to work with, and protective of your time and your name.

  • 01 Paid fast. No 30 to 45 day waits like the legacy networks. We pay quickly, every time.
  • 02 Less friction. A short prompt and a few sentences. No lengthy surveys before you're ever selected for a call.
  • 03 Trusted & discreet. A mission-aligned community of U.S.-based, vetted clients. We protect your information and your identity.
  • 04 A real person. You talk to people who understand your background, and you engage on your terms.

Method

From question to briefing in days.

Step 01

Frame the question

Bring the thesis, the company, or the capability gap. We scope the brief and surface conflicts before anyone is matched.

Intake & deconfliction
Step 02

Triangulate the network

We match vetted profiles by domain, perspective, program, and era, not by keyword search.

Match & screen
Step 03

Take the briefing

The right expert, on the record, with compliance and engagement controls handled end to end.

Days, not weeks
Step 04

Build conviction

Walk into the decision with the context to underwrite it, and the basis to defend it.

Expert FAQs

Questions experts ask before they sign.

Straight answers on employer permission, what you can discuss, pay, and how to join. If something else is blocking you, write us — we will work through it with you.

01 Do I need my current employer’s permission before I join?
Many full-time employers (consulting firms, primes, and others) require an outside-employment or outside-activity request before you sign an expert agreement. We expect that. If your firm needs a request on file first, put it in and tell us — we will hold the formal agreement until your employer process is underway or approved.
02 What am I allowed to discuss on a call?
Everything we do relies on publicly available, unclassified information and ITAR/EAR-compliant conversations. You should never share classified information, material non-public information, or anything your current or former employer treats as confidential. If a question sits outside those bounds, decline it — we will back you.
03 When and how do I get paid?
We pay quickly after a completed call — not the 30–45 day waits common at legacy networks. Rate and logistics are confirmed before you accept an engagement.
04 How do I join ASC?
Apply on this site, or come in by referral. Every inbound application is reviewed personally; referred experts are fast-tracked. If there is a fit, we send the expert agreement and compliance training, then a short onboarding form so we can match you to the right projects.
